Completed in 2025, the Wasabi Project by EME157 Arquitectura is a detached house designed for a couple passionate about mountain activities, climbing, skateboarding, and Japanese culture.

Located on a unique heart-shaped plot surrounded by holm oaks and natural stone, the project embraces a philosophy of simplicity and efficiency. The house is organized around a double-height central space that connects all rooms, eliminating corridors and allowing flexible living through Japanese-inspired sliding panels.

Constructively, the project sits on an elevated steel platform, minimizing ground impact. The load-bearing walls were built using the Xpanel system, combining structure and thermal insulation through a 20 cm EPS core reinforced with mesh and finished with a 5 cm concrete layer.

The result is a home where architecture, landscape, and lifestyle come together through clarity of space and efficient construction.
